Illustration, Video and kickstarter managment
For this project I had to create the entire Kickstarter page layout and design, and all the 3D animations, 2D animations and videos. Furthermore, along with the copywriter, I had to keep the page updated and managed the entirety of the project. Everything designed for this project had to retain a certain graphical style and colour palette, but it also had to be made in a way that explains every aspect of the boardgame clearly and makes people interested in buying it. As the Kickstarter Manager for this project, I had to make sure that all the assets were done on time for the launch day and prioritise what was most important. I had to collaborate with the other designers, copywriter, product manager and director of the project to ensure that everything was completed to a high standard. As the main video editor/animator at Bubblegum Stuff, I created the How to Play and the campaign videos for this project. Together with the copywriter we wrote the script and then I directed, produced, filmed, audio recorded, and edited the videos. Another task that I had was illustrating some of the assets for the main board, as well as some of the elements from the game, like the "turn token" and the "treasure chest cards". Once the Kickstarter campaign was over, I oversaw the pledge manager, maintaining it and producing all the assets for it. The aim was to ensure that everyone using the pledge manager for the first time would easily understand how to use it and pay the shipping cost. I often communicated with the product manager to make sure that all the shipping prices were correct, and everything went according to plan. One of the other responsibilities that I had was creating the social media graphics and posts for this project. All content had to follow the same theme and to be relevant to our campaign.
